My Policies & Conditions

• All cakes are PICK UP ONLY.
• Tier cakes are not available.
• Cash and Direct deposit only payment.


• A $7 surcharge is applicable per cake sample (maximum 2 samples).
• Cake samples are only available after a 50% deposit is made and a date is booked.


• Cake boxes are provided to transport cakes and temporarily store them.


• All cake stand hire is based strictly on the understanding that it will be returned in perfect condition and cleaned.
• A $10 deposit will be required for the cake stand rental. A $10 security deposit is also required.
• All cake stands will be returned THE NEXT DAY after your event.
• In the event of breakage or damage to the cake stand your security deposit will be withheld and the difference will be owed by yourself at the FULL REPLACEMENT PRICE of the day.


• Please inform me of any changes to the number of your guests as soon as you can. There will be a charge for any increase in numbers.


• I take no responsibility for the cake/s once it has left my premises.


• I do not offer cakes for special dietary requirements.
• A list of ingredients is available for your perusal if required.


• All “Centrepiece” cakes are covered with Fondant to seal in freshness and ensure the ultimate in presentation.


• Store cake in a cool dry place. Do not refrigerate fondant covered cakes.


• To preserve the true colour of the cake/s please preserve them in the sealed box provided and store in a cupboard until the cake is ready to make its "Debut".


• Alternatively, if you wish to display the cake for your guests, simply place it away from direct sunlight!


• You are welcome to provide your own fresh flowers for the cake if you so choose.


• A $2 charge applies if you wish your cake board to be covered with fondant.


• For larger celebrations 12 weeks notice is required however....depending on the orders on the day...I can produce a CAKE ONLY with 24hrs notice (sometimes less). Vanilla and lemon cake flavours are available and decorations may be slightly limited


• Colours and designs may vary slightly. Any extra flowers or decorations are charged from $2.00 per extra item.


• For little children it is best to remove cake decorations before serving the cake.


• GIFT VOUCHERS are available for purchase by International, National and Greater Brisbane Clients.
• Payment is made by Direct Deposit.
• Bookings are essential.


• A 50%(of the total cost) non refundable deposit is required to secure your requested date.


• Your deposit of 50% of the overall cost will be retained due to cancellation.


• The full outstanding amount is required 3 weeks prior to your event.


• You give your permission in full to the use of the picture of your cake to be displayed on the Delicious Dainties pty ltd website.
